In just a bit, I’ll be taking the debate stage. This is my last chance to talk directly to thousands of undecided voters before North Carolinians start voting early in person tomorrow.

So, I wanted to reach out one final time about our critical $100,000 pre-debate goal. I just spoke to Sharlese, our finance director, and we’re only $2,500 short.

Hitting this goal will show the strength of this grassroots team and make sure we’re ready for anything my opponent and his far-right allies throw at us. That means Medicaid expansion, increased investments to rural broadband, and raises for our hard-working teachers — all critical issues before the pandemic, and now they’re even more important.

My extremist opponent, on the other hand, will no doubt try and defend his dangerous proposals that will take North Carolina backward.
