I want to share some numbers that are on my mind right now. Is it okay if
I share them with you real quick?

* 14: We’re working to elect 14 incredible champions for reform for
powerful District Attorney and Judicial positions all across the
country.

* 20: We only have 20 days left to organize volunteers, mobilize voters,
and make sure we get out the vote for our endorsed-candidates. 

* $20.61: This is the average amount we’ve received from online
donations this month. It’s evidence of the grassroots movement we’re
building to make real change this election. 

* And finally $22,000: This is the mid-month fundraising goal our team
needs to reach by midnight on Friday if we want to give the support
our candidates need to win big on November 3rd. 



Right now, we’re $7,025 short. [ [link removed] ]If everyone reading this email right
now chips in $5, we can close this gap before our Friday deadline. Can you
give $5 or anything you can spare to make sure voters turnout for our 14
endorsed candidates this election?

I’ll be honest with you. It’s not easy meeting goals like this month in
and month out. But it’s absolutely critical if we want to enact bold
change in our legal systems over the long term. 

Every race we join is tough. Real Justice-endorsed candidates represent a
significant threat to the status quo of a legal system that upholds
injustice and oppression, but allows many to profit off of doing so. 

We’re seeing that right now in the LA District Attorney race. Law
enforcement groups have contributed at least $5,000,000 — that’s five
MILLION — to defeat Real Justice candidate George Gascón. In a District
Attorney’s race. 

That is unprecedented. But that’s how determined they are to stop our
movement for
reform, John.
