Catherine is excited to continue onward with the Ascend team this fall in Washington. She is currently a senior at American University studying Political Science and Communication Studies, and looking forward to using this semester to gain greater knowledge about the districts and candidates Ascend is working with. You can always find Catherine at the nearest Compass Coffee or at the Dupont Farmers Market.

Adit Roy
He/Him/His
Adit is a sophomore at American University majoring in C.L.E.G. (Communications, Law, Economics, and Government). He was recently an Orientation Leader and a Student Ambassador at American University. Adit is excited to join the Ascend team as an intern this upcoming fall. In his free time you can catch him hanging out with friends at the Dough Jar in Georgetown or at Jeni’s ice cream on U Street.

Ollie Steinberg
They/Them/Theirs
Ollie is a senior studying Justice, Law, & Criminology at American University, and looking forward to another great term with Ascend in DC! Their passion lies in the field of human rights and humanitarian law, and especially LGBTQ+ rights issues. In addition to working at a cat cafe, Ollie likes to play Dungeons & Dragons with friends, to kayak, and to bake a lot of bread.
