Yesterday, the Supreme Court cleared the Trump administration to proceed with its plan to end the 2020 Census early. The response period will now end after TOMORROW, Thursday, October 15. There is still time for you to be counted!
Internet and phone self-response will be available across the nation until 3:00 am PT on Friday, October 16. Mail responses will be accepted as long as they are postmarked by October 15.
The Census determines the allocation of federal funds for emergency planning, hospitals, schools, roads, workforce development, and other critical services distributed to communities across the country for the next 10 years. An undercount of just one percent of our diverse district could result in billions of lost federal funding.
So, do your part for our CA-34 community by taking 10 minutes to complete the 2020 Census right now and encouraging your friends and neighbors to do the same:
