Never Is Now Starts November 8!

The first day of Never Is Now, the world’s largest Summit on antisemitism and hate is rapidly approaching, and we are eager for you to join us for the first virtual, first free year of this annual event.

We’re adding information about the Summit every day, and we encourage you to take a few minutes to learn about some of the compelling sessions and panels in our lineup and register for the Summit so you can add your favorites to your personalized agenda.

Here are some of the takeaways that Never Is Now 2020 will provide so you can add your voice to the global conversation in combatting antisemitism and bias of all kinds.

Featured Sessions

From the Quad to the Keyboard: How Hate Has Moved from On Campus to Online

After this panel, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand the ways that students are experiencing online harassment as they gather in more virtual communities during the COVID-19 pandemic .
  • Develop new tactics to disrupt antisemitism, racism and anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments.
  • Build alliances to ensure that the Jewish community and all communities together have the voices needed to fight hate when it arises on the left or right.

Extremism and the Election: What Now?

After this panel, you’ll be able to:

  • Have a better understanding of current extremism trends through ADL’s data about the unprecedented increase in conspiracy theories, inflammatory rhetoric and politically charged street confrontations.
  • Forecast the impact of this divisive election on extremists, and what may be in store in the coming months.

A Light in Darkness: Violent Attacks on the Jewish Community and the Fight to Overcome them

After this panel, you’ll be able to:

  • Know, from first-hand insights, how communities that have suffered from violent antisemitic attacks are showing resolve and finding ways to heal.
  • Better understand why Jews, especially those visibly identifiable as Jewish, face violence and other devastating incidents on seemingly a daily basis.
  • Learn from these resilient communities how to build bridges of understanding to prevent further attacks and to signal that despite the intent of their attackers, Jews are still here and standing their ground.

Great Ways to Enrich Your Experience
