On Monday, October 12th, the first day of Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmations hearings, supporters and detractors of Judge Amy Coney Barrett gathered in front of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Supporters of Judge Barrett boasted of her constitutionalist and originalist approach to interpreting the Constitution, her strong faith, and how she leads her family. In comparison, those who were there to protest Barrett’s confirmation predictably didn’t have much to say besides “the process should not be rushed.”

The INSTANT that President Trump named appellate Judge Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee for the Supreme Court, the malicious leftist media pounced, going so far as to attack her Catholic faith and large family, echoing leftist California Senator Dianne Feinstein’s toweringly insulting statement to Barrett during 2017 confirmation hearings for her appeals court post.
At the time, Feinstein snidely said: “The dogma lives loudly in you.”
The Nation said Judge Barret’s religious beliefs are “extremist.”
CNN implied that Barrett’s acknowledgment of Christ as Savior and her friendship with others who agree are similar to conspiring with illicit, underground gangs. They say it’s an “issue.”
Really? In a nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles — where Thomas Jefferson noted in THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE that our rights are God-given — a woman who associates with other Christians is an “issue?”
CNN went on attacking the idea that Barrett or ANY American should be involved with Catholicism or Christianity:
“In the questionnaire submitted to the Judiciary Committee when she was nominated by Trump to her current judgeship, Barrett disclosed that she served on the board of trustees of the Trinity School from 2015 to 2017. People of Praise founded the school in South Bend, Indiana, in 1981.” —Trinity Schools
How dare her?! A religious-based school?!
