It took millions to flip VA-02 in 2018 -- and now that Elaine is facing a rematch against former Republican Congressman Scott Taylor in a presidential election year, we'll need to raise even more to combat the down-ballot boost Taylor will get from Trump's supporters.

But we just looked over our numbers, and the truth is, we won't be able to reach our fundraising goal for October unless we majorly ramp up our efforts. If we fall short, it will seriously impact our ability to effectively counter the $3.2 million in dark money being spent against Elaine and turn out voters across VA-02.
