Do you think it's too late to make a difference in this election?
Just remember 155.
That's the number of votes I won by in my first primary election - out of 46,245 votes cast. And during the two weeks of early voting which led up to Election Day, I was behind. Way behind - by almost 14%.
But on Election Day, the tide turned. I earned almost 2,000 more votes than my nearest opponent in a field of nine candidates. The final count was released after midnight, and it confirmed that I would be heading to the runoff. The rest is history.
My point is this: People will say that everyone has made up their minds about who they're voting for. They'll say there is nothing more we can do to change minds and earn votes. They'll say that "the cake is baked."
But the cake wasn't baked at this point in my first election. If it was I would not be writing this today.
It's never too late to make a difference. And now we are 20 days out from the most important election in our lifetimes.
20 days to GET OUT THE VOTE.

As of this writing almost 90% of voters in my district have yet to cast their ballots. That's about 300,000 voters.
And yesterday, Democrats vastly outperformed Republicans in early voting in my district. We need to turn the tide and get out the vote, and I need your help to fight back.
For the next 20 days, Pelosi's political machine will bombard my district with lies and disinformation about my record. We see their attack ads on television, in mailboxes, on the internet. Even some of my most conservative friends - who would never vote Democrat - are being mailed these attacks.
Democrats are counting on this scattershot attack strategy to sway voters because they don't have any positive message to run on.
We cannot sit by and hope to win by running out the clock. We have to answer these attacks, continue sharing our own positive message with voters, and GET OUT THE VOTE before it's too late.
