Friend,
Every dollar raised between now and Election Day is powering our voter outreach campaign.
For years, Democrats counted on Michigan to be part of the “Blue wall”―a bloc of states that consistently voted blue in presidential elections. But in 2016, Trump won Michigan by fewer than 11,000 votes―setting the stage for one of the most dangerous, hateful presidencies in modern history.
To defeat hate and Vote Out Trump between now and November 3rd, we need your help. And tonight at midnight we face our final fundraising deadline before the election.
Donate by midnight tonight to fully fund our voter outreach campaign, keeping our staff and volunteers on the doors and on the phones every day between now and Election Day.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately:
In our recent August primary, our field team was able to increase voter turnout by 21% from the 2018 primary. And we have the same goal for the general election, which will ensure we beat Trump.
We can do it by contacting primary voters, absentee voters, new voters, and the 40,000 people who voted in 2012 but not in 2016―just Rashida’s district alone can flip the crucial swing state of Michigan. We’ve already made over 58,000 voter contacts in just the past few weeks!
And we have no time to lose: More people are voting early each day up to November 3rd. That’s why we’re trying to knock on 10,000 people’s doors THIS WEEK, in addition to calling and texting thousands of people.
Help us reach thousands of Michigan voters each day between now and Election Day. Donate today to keep campaign staff and volunteers on the doors and on the phones!
Thank you for all that you do to power Rashida’s campaign as we work to Vote Out Trump and defeat hate this election season.
Oscar Arbulu Director of Field Operations, Rashida for Congress
P.S. We have volunteer phone banks each day between now and Election Day, and we need more people to help make calls. Click here to sign up for a call shift this week and provide Michigan voters with the resources they need to make their voices heard!
