It's just come out that that's what Jeff Sessions said to prosecutors while he was explaining Donald Trump's desires to separate families as a deterrent to immigrant families.

"We need to take away children."

We need to take the White House away from Trump. And we could very well do it; national polls look good. But keep in mind that's not how we vote.

Battleground states decide the election. And The New York Times has a troubling report on the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, writing: "voter registration trends have stood out as a rare bright spot for Republicans in one of the nation's most important battleground states. Since Election Day 2016, Republicans have shrunk the Democratic advantage in Pennsylvania by nearly 200,000 voters, from just over 916,000 to just over 717,000 -- all in a state that Mr. Trump won in 2016 by fewer than 45,000 votes."

This is how the GOP won in 2016. By fighting on the margins, and by winning. We can fight back, but not if we let the (meaningless) national polls suppress our drive. Right now, that's what's happening. How do I know? We're $4,018 short of our fundraising goal.
