Take a look at this update I just got from John, the finance director here on Team Golden.

Right now, he’s telling me that we’re still $2,128 away from our goal. With just a few hours to go until our deadline, things are starting to come down to the wire.

At this stage in the race, no campaign manager wants to be put in a position where they’re forced to make tough decisions about scaling back operations or cutting the budget -- especially in a race this competitive.

Unfortunately, that might be the position I find myself in if we don’t meet this goal and report a strong fundraising performance before tonight’s FEC deadline.
