As more hikers explore the White Mountains, calls for help climb too
With the pandemic putting other activities on hold, hiking has become more popular than ever before. Even on weekdays, sedans and SUVs are filling parking lots as more people hit the trails.

But with a rise in attendance has come a rise in accidents. In recent weeks, the White Mountains made national headlines when three men died in six days.
