In response to yesterday’s announcement that next year’s COLA will be a paltry 1.3%―not nearly enough to keep up with the rising out-of-pocket expenses experienced by seniors―Rep. DeFazio is introducing emergency legislation to give Social Security beneficiaries a 3% Cost of Living boost in 2021.
Rep. DeFazio is the lead sponsor of the Social Security Expansion Act―the House companion bill to Sen. Bernie Sanders’s Social Security expansion legislation.
Time and again, Peter DeFazio has had our backs. Now it’s time for us to have his.
