** Endorsement: Anthony Palumbo For State Senate (SD-1)

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Anthony Palumbo for New York State’s 1^st Senate District seat. A New York State Senator for Long Island’s nearby 2^nd District since 2013, Anthony was born and raised in the area before attending Lafayette College and St. John’s University School of Law. He began his career in public service as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, rising to Trial Supervisor for five Eastern Suffolk towns before starting his own law practice with his wife in Mattituck. During his time in Albany over the last six years, Anthony has sponsored and passed bills – going across the aisle to build support in many cases – that provide tax cuts, first-time homebuyer credits, and education reform to Suffolk County residents. In addition to his platform’s support for affordable home ownership on Long Island and reforming the oft-misaligned Common Core education curriculum, Anthony has sponsored legislation that would toughen public corruption laws in
New York, a level of accountability all elected officials should be held to, as well as actively voiced his support for legislation limiting the Governor’s Executive Powers. Anthony’s demonstrated professional legal experience, ability to work equitably across the political aisle, and passion for his hometown and local constituencies will serve the District well. The New York Young Republican Club urges all voters within New York State’s 1^st Senate District to stop the advance of Communism and hyper-partisanship by supporting Anthony Palumbo to be their next State Senator.

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Vito Bruno for New York State’s 22^nd Senate District seat. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Vito graduated from Brooklyn Tech before receiving his Architectural Planning degree from Pratt and working as in-house designer at Hilton International Hotels, as well as a prestigious independent architectural firm. After his career in architecture, Vito’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to successful ventures in the music entertainment industry, primarily in South Brooklyn. As a lifelong Brooklynite, Vito has experienced directly the impact of recent Democrat-led policies in the area he knows, loves, and lives, most notably New York’s disastrous Bail “Reform” law. In addition to a renewed, logical focus on law and order beginning with an overhaul of Bail “Reform”, Vito seeks to make Albany accountable for burdensome regulations, wasteful spending, and unequitable tax and spending policies that disproportionately affect South Brooklyn residents.
Vito’s demonstrated business acumen, ability to get things done, and lifelong ties to South Brooklyn and its values will serve district residents well. The New York Young Republican Club is honored to announce Conservative Icon, Former Vice Presidential Candidate & Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin as the keynote speaker for our upcoming 108th Annual Gala.
