Dear John,

From the presidential debate debacle to the White House coronavirus outbreak, the last few weeks have been a rollercoaster that has left us reeling. And, it’s been making us wonder: what message does this send to the young people of today?

That’s why we are teaming up with Run For Something to support 16 of our most inspiring young candidates. We’re asking you to donate $20.20 today not only as an investment in these specific races, but also in the future of the progressive candidate pipeline. ([link removed][UNIQID])

It’s no secret that half of the presidential ticket is over 74 years old. In fact, they are the two oldest presidential candidates in history. While we believe there is much value in a lifetime of career experience, we also know that young people want to see candidates in office who they can relate to. It matters both for inspiring them to vote, and for inspiring them to run themselves.

Your donation today will go to these 16 candidates:
* Lorenzo Sanchez (TX HD-67)
* Natali Hurtado (TX HD-126)
* Akilah Bacy (TX HD-138)
* Joanna Cattanach (TX HD-108)
* Celina Montoya (TX HD-121)
* Jasmine Clark (GA HD-108)
* Ricky Hurtado (NC HD-63)
* Brian Farkas (NC HD-9)
* Sarah Crawford (NC HD-18)
* Sydney Batch (NC HD-37)
* Ricky Junquera (FL HD-118)
* Franccesca Cesti-Browne (FL HD-115)
* Cindy Polo (FL HD-103)
* Amanda White Eagle (WI HD-92)
* Laurie Pohutsky (MI HD-19)
* Brittney Rodas (PA HD-105)

With only three weeks left until Election Day, this is one of our very last fundraising asks. Young people have historically been shut out of the electoral process, but they are on the front lines of critical issues like climate change, college affordability, student debt, and gun violence.

Help us ensure that young, progressive voices have a seat at the table to guide us in the future we all share.
