Dear John,

As you know, President Donald Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the vacancy left by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. Barrett currently serves as a circuit judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Trump’s judicial pick is a true American patriot and is known among evangelical, conservative Christians as a respected woman of faith.

This week, Barrett is scheduled to go before the Senate Judiciary Committee for her confirmation hearing. As we have learned with past nominees, the confirmation process will be intense. In Barrett's confirmation to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, Sen. Diane Feinstein attacked Barrett's religious faith by stating:

Why is it that so many of us on this side have this very uncomfortable feeling that, you know, dogma and law are two different things, and I think whatever religion is, it has its own dogma. The law is totally different, and I think in your case, Professor, when I read your speeches, the conclusion one draws is that the dogma lives loudly within you.

Will you join with us in praying for Barrett, her family, and for AFA Action as we continue to stand firm against those who will fight the confirmation of Judge Barrett?
