My team tells me we still have a significant gap to close today in order to meet our goal.

This is important. If we come up short, we’ll have to make some difficult decisions on where to cut back our budget in the final weeks of this race.

That could mean fewer ads reaching the crucial undecided voters we need to win, and a smaller Get Out The Vote operation than we anticipated.
