As we close Latinx Heritage Month, we must honor our history with our vote.

Hello Friend,

While we are celebrating Latinx Heritage Month, we wanted to come together as an
HRC family to honor the LGBTQ Latinx community and our allies.

Nothing about this year has unfolded as expected, including this year’s
commemoration. Not only are we living through a global pandemic that has disproportionately impacted LGBTQ Latinx folks
[[link removed]] , but we are also just weeks away from Election Day.

Now more than ever, our actions must speak louder than our words.

That’s why I’m reaching out personally to make sure you and your loved ones have a voting plan [[link removed]] . We need to vote like our lives depend on it — because that’s the reality for
millions of LGBTQ Latinx folks throughout this country.

With HRC’s Election Center, you can confirm your voter registration status
[[link removed]] (in both English and Spanish), make your voting plan [[link removed]] , volunteer to help our critical work
[[link removed]] , sign up to be a poll worker
[[link removed]] and more. Take a look and share it with your networks so they are ready come
November, too.

The Latinx vote could change the course of our country’s history and, by coming
together to unite for equality, we can all help chart a path for a better, more
inclusive future.

Exercising our civil right to vote in this election will not only make sure our
voices are heard, but it will also put an end to a hateful, discriminatory
agenda designed to undermine Latinx self-worth and collective strength.

Our future is on us, as a community. As Latinx Heritage
Month closes, remember there’s no better way to live into our storied history
than by making some of our own with our vote. Make your voting plan today

Thank you,

Milly Chirinos
