Texas is absolutely smashing Early Voting records. We've seen huge levels of enthusiasm in Travis and Bell counties, in key precincts where we need to drive turnout. And Travis County just announced that a staggering 97% of its voting age population of 850,000 people was registered to vote.

240,000 of those voters are in the District 25 portion of Travis County, and they're overwhelmingly with Julie on the issues that matter. That means that right now our job is to ensure that Democratic turnout is positively off the charts. That's why it's critical that we hit our goal of making 60,000 calls to voters and dropping 50,000 pieces of lit by this Sunday.

Remember: we can't have conversations at the door. So these lit drops and phone calls are incredibly important. They're not quite the same, but they're some of the most effective tools we have right now:

• Contactless, no-knock lit drops are a great way to ensure that we are contacting voters that are traditionally harder to reach. Our pieces of literature bring Julie's positive message directly to voters' doors, where they can then read about Julie, her story, and all of the relevant election-related deadlines.


• Making phone calls to voters is a tried-and-true component of organizing we'd be relying on in any election year, but in 2020, it's the most critical way to continue having person-to-person conversations. With the "Julie Dialer" specifically, our callers can make thousands of calls in a shift.
