Just a few weeks ago, CCAN Action Fund set a goal of reaching 200,000 voters in swing states. With 400 volunteers helping, we’re going to hit that goal. 

But it turns out it wasn’t enough. Pennsylvania will be key to the national election and it’s still close! Trump is campaigning hard there.

Meanwhile, thanks to volunteers like you, here’s what CCAN Action Fund has done: 

• Written 20,000 letters or postcards to voters in swing states (impressive, right?) 
• Sent over 150,000 text messages to potential voters in Pennsylvania and North Carolina (and only a few of us had to suffer through conversations with Trump supporters)
• And thanks to our generous sponsors, we have sent 1,215 voter registration forms or vote-by-mail applications to Americans across the country who needed the forms. 

Each text, letter, postcard, and pre-posted form will engage underrepresented or unlikely voters and bring them closer to casting a ballot this fall. Thank you. But to hit our goal of 200,000 voters, there is still a lot of work to do.

We are teaming up with “Pennsylvania Stands Up” for their weekend of action. They need 500 volunteers to make 100,000 calls in two days. Donald Trump won the state of Pennsylvania in 2016 by just 0.7%, one of the narrowest margins in Pennsylvania history. Only 44,292 people. That means it is within our power to take back PA — in just one weekend.
