She has also inspired us with her commitment to women’s rights, workers’ rights and common sense gun safety. Beyond being an actress and activist, Alyssa is also a producer, designer, philanthropist, humanitarianand author. She currently stars in “Insatiable” for the streaming giant, Netflix, as “Coralee,” the social climbing wife of a disgraced lawyer/beauty pageant coach. The second season of the breakout series will stream later this year. Milano has co-authored, Hope: Project Middle School, the first in a planned series of books with Scholastic centering on “Hope,” a spunky 11-year-old girl who seeks to create change in her community (to be published on October 15th).

As if she isn’t already doing enough, this past April, Alyssa added the title of podcast host to her resume, launching “Sorry Not Sorry”—a weekly podcast tackling social, political and cultural issues from the perspective of unapologetic guests while highlighting grassroots efforts and the amazing work of activists across the country.

So far, Alyssa’s podcast has included insightful conversation from Vice President Joe Biden (D), Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, Tarana Burke, PA Attorney General Josh Shapiro, Charlotte Clymer, Manuel Oliver, Erin Brockovitch, Van Jones and many more.
