"Census Count Can Be Cut Short, Supreme Court Rules"
-- New York Times

The conservative Roberts Court just handed the Trump administration a huge victory. Allowing the administration to shut down the census while the matter is appealed could lead to a HUGE undercount that will unfairly advantage white, Republican voters in congressional and state legislative redistricting.
Justice Sonia Sotomayor delivered a passionate dissent in which she argued that "the harms associated with an inaccurate census are avoidable and intolerable." We couldn't agree more -- and that's why we're working around the clock to ensure a fair and accurate census while the matter is still being appealed.
But we need your help to get the job done! Will you make an urgent donation now to help us keep up our important work?
