I just walked off the stage of our second debate here in PA-07. I hope I made you proud.

I have always been committed to transparency and honesty. The voters deserve to know exactly where I stand on key issues, and I will run on my record any day. So I made a point to talk about issues, and what my policies are. My opponent followed the lead of the NRCC and her dark money backers, and spent all her time trash-talking me, lying about my record, and conveniently forgetting about my successes in Congress in just my first term.

The National Republican Campaign Committee just dumped $100,000 into ads against me in a last-minute attempt to push my opponent over the finish line. They are just perpetuating her same lies, but we can't let voters think that we have no response; we have to give them the facts and truth. Unfortunately, that costs money.

My campaign’s final FEC fundraising deadline is tomorrow at midnight. We can’t fall behind - it’s crucial that we reach our $20,000 goal so we can counter the misinformation and lies, and turn out Democrats to vote.

Friend, we saw in 2016 that we can’t take a single vote for granted, and there are no guarantees about what the result will be on Election Day.
