I couldn’t be more proud of my latest campaign ad, Homework. And I can’t wait for it to hit the airwaves districtwide.

When I decided to run for office, I committed that I would care about the issues that matter even if they weren’t the sexiest or easiest to campaign on. Broadband isn’t just a talking point, we need clear action to ensure those in VA-1 have access to reliable internet that we depend on.

Especially in the pandemic, parents are relying on strong internet for their children’s schooling, to allow for them to effectively work from home to keep their families safe, and to do virtual health appointments.

As I’ve traveled around the First District, I have heard endless stories about students doing homework in parking lots for WiFi access. This is unacceptable.

My new ad sheds light on the urgent need for action and I need your help to expand its reach. I just met with my team and we are short about 37 donations to hit our goal.
