John -- Since February, the Senate’s “Grim Reaper” - Mitch McConnell - has refused to budge on more than 300 bipartisan bills. Now, he’s purposely delaying voting on urgently needed COVID-19 relief so the “other side” can’t use it to its advantage in the election.

However, he’s vowed to pack the Supreme Court - at any cost - within the next few weeks. The hypocrisy of his actions is astonishing, yet Shelley Moore Capito votes in line with McConnell and the president more than 90% of the time. 

At a time when she should be standing up for the people, who need real leadership and representation more than ever, she’s passively toeing the party line.

It’s past time for REAL leadership in the Senate, and I need you with me if I’m going to win this seat. Can I count on you right now?

The likes of Capito, McConnell, and this incompetent and dangerous president aren’t just playing politics when they refuse to budge on legislation that’s good for everyday Americans - they’re playing with people’s lives. While they scramble to appoint a super-conservative pick to the Supreme Court, lauding her staunchly pro-life stance, Americans are dying of COVID by the thousands, going hungry, and losing their homes.

Look around, John. This is it - we have only a few weeks left to change the fate of this nation for the better. Only a few weeks left to ensure West Virginians and all Americans elect a true advocate to the Senate, which we desperately need to flip if we’re going to undo the damage that’s already been done.

Our system of checks and balances has gone off the rails. The results of the presidential election are anybody’s guess. The situation is even more dire with an overwhelmingly conservative Supreme Court. 

We have to reach every voter we possibly can during this chaotic time. We don’t have the luxury of throwing our hands up. We have to keep fighting until every vote is cast.
