Friend, the next 24 hours could be the turning point for our campaign.

Today, early voting began across Kentucky, and tomorrow, we face our final FEC deadline of the campaign. These two things are deeply connected in our fight to beat Mitch three weeks from today.

I’m grateful for the provisions our leaders have made to ensure that Kentuckians can vote early and safely, and based on the initial reports, I’m feeling optimistic about turnout. This is how a democracy is supposed to work—giving citizens as many options as possible to make their voices heard.

This is the democracy I signed up to protect and defend—the same one Mitch has done his utmost to break. But during this pandemic, ensuring that everyone can make their voice heard will take voter mobilization above and beyond anything attempted before in the commonwealth.

The final weeks of this campaign are not, and cannot be, about business as usual. In these final weeks, we need the resources to communicate to voters why their choice matters and to stand our ground against an avalanche of attacks, all while going up against a special-interest machine intent on tearing us and our democracy down.

In voting, there are no do-overs. The same will hold true on this campaign—we have one chance to get this right. So let’s go all in.

Before tomorrow’s final FEC deadline, chip in and let’s go win this.

Fired up,
Amy
