Friend,
In this email, I’m going to ask you to contribute $3 to my campaign for Congress. We have a huge deadline coming up, so I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why your donation is so important:
On Wednesday at midnight, we will close the books on the most important fundraising deadline of the election -- our final public FEC report. With Trump-aligned super PACs and National Republicans spending a combined $6 million to defeat me, this is our last chance to send a message about our grassroots strength headed into November 3rd.
Trump is free-falling in the polls here in Texas, and it has become clear the GOP cannot retake the House if they lose ground in North Texas districts like mine.
We don’t expect the Republicans to let up. That’s why I’m asking:
We need to raise $5,917 by 11:59 PM tonight to stay on track and meet our FEC fundraising goal. Can you help us deliver Trump the defeat of a lifetime by contributing $3 right away? >> [link removed]
Remember, when our report is made public next week, everyone -- especially the National Republicans -- will pour over it closely.
This is our chance to prove that we can go toe-to-toe with the Republicans dark money machine. I know I can count on you to come through:
Please chip in $3. If we can raise $5,917 by 11:59 PM we will be on track to counteract every dollar the Republicans throw at us. >> [link removed]
I can’t say thank you enough,
Candace
