We've been talking to swing-state voters about how to safely cast ballots from home. We’ve made 8 million contacts by mail, phone, and text — and that’s just so far!
But what about the hundreds of thousands of people on our contact list who haven’t requested a mail-in ballot yet?
John: If we fail to turn out voters who didn’t request a ballot, Joe Biden has a narrow chance of winning battleground states like North Carolina, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Working with Charlotte Hill, Vote From Home's senior advisor and a PhD candidate at California-Berkeley, we developed the Plan to Vote Postcard, a simple, research-driven tool to boost voting rates for in-person voters.
Swing-state voters will receive the postcard along with follow-up texts and calls from our volunteers to make sure they have a plan to vote early or on Election Day.
Best,
Suzy

Vote From Home 2020 is a grassroots movement that's making vote by mail more accessible. With a $25 donation, we'll send vote by mail applications to 20 voters. COVID-19 has brought America to a halt, and with it almost all in-person voter mobilization efforts. While volunteers can’t get on buses to swing states or go door-to-door right now, we still must get out the vote where it counts. By sending vote by mail ballots to targeted states and following up with text and calls to voters, we can ensure the 2020 general election is safe and accessible. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $25 so consider donating that today to support voting rights. |
