After day two of the nomination hearing for Amy Coney Barrett, President Trump’s conservative nominee for the Supreme Court, I am deeply concerned.

For months, President Trump has attempted to delegitimize mail-in voting and undermine the United States Postal Service. He refuses to accept the outcome of the election or to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses — leaving open the possibility that the Supreme Court could decide the outcome of this election — instead of the American voters.

When asked directly today if the Constitution gives the president the authority to unilaterally delay a general election under any circumstances — Amy Coney Barrett refused to answer.
