I want to take a moment and explain to you why tomorrow night’s FEC fundraising deadline is so important to our campaign. This is the big one, and I just need a few minutes of your time. Will you read below?

We send a lot of emails — but, in case you missed it, I want you to know that Tina’s lead in the polls has deteriorated in recent weeks. This downward trend began right around the time Donald Trump returned to Minnesota, attacked our campaign, and gave our right-wing opponent a boost in this race.

When the dust settles on our FEC deadline at midnight tomorrow, we’ll know whether or not we have the resources to fight back against Trump’s attacks and keep our very slim lead in the polls.

At this point, weakness in a competitive race like ours can lose elections. I’ve seen it happen. Any ounce of vulnerability can convince outside groups and last-minute donors to support our right-wing opponent. We can’t let that happen.

This race is down to single digits — virtually everything that happens between now and Election Day could be the deciding factor. If we miss this goal… poof! Our chances of protecting this seat and taking back the Senate vanish.
