With your support, Doorways can welcome new families into our care, and care for those who are with us today.
As COVID Crisis Continues, We Need You Now
Homeless Families Struggle With Impossible Choices As School Closures Continue
"How do you choose between working and providing for your family, and your child's education?"
With schools and many daycares still closed, families at Doorways are struggling to answer these same questions. Your support offers families a safe harbor to weather this storm.
The ‘Triple Tsunami’ of COVID-19, Economic Collapse, and Domestic Violence
More than ever before, survivors need safe harbors like Doorways.

"As the global pandemic wears on into its eighth month — Domestic Violence Awareness Month — the impact on those experiencing domestic violence has continued to intensify. The combination of the COVID-19 crisis, the economic downturn, and stay-at-home orders has meant that 'we are in the midst of a triple tsunami, and then you add in the many examples of racist policing and you have a quadruple threat to domestic violence survivors.'"
