Dear friends and allies,
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has made the need for stable housing a primary concern. One in three Massachusetts households are at risk of eviction, according to the latest data from a U.S. Census Bureau survey. We need your help to prevent thousands of Massachusetts’ working families, including frontline workers, teachers, child care providers, and health care industry employees, from being evicted from their homes. Our homes have become a safe haven during this public health crisis. Please help us by calling on lawmakers to not only halt evictions and foreclosures, but provide real solutions to the looming housing crisis in the state.
Join Homes for All Massachusetts and the Massachusetts COVID-19 Response Alliance (MCRA) on October 14, as we demand Governor Baker pledge support to passing the Guaranteed Housing Stability Act.
Contact your local legislator and demand they support the Guaranteed Housing Stability Act, as the only proposal that will prevent mass evictions and foreclosures by protecting renters, helping homeowners, and stabilizing small-scale landlords.
October 14 at 5 p.m.
