Senate Republicans proclaim themselves to be champions for protecting those with pre-existing conditions, but Conservative extremists like Sen. Bill Cassidy, Lindsey Graham, and Mitch McConnell have been trying to destroy the Affordable Care Act for years.

Senators Bill Cassidy and Lindsey Graham were the architects of a failed ACA repeal bill in 2017 that eliminated guaranteed protections for millions of people with pre-existing conditions.

Trump and the Senate GOP promised to protect pre-existing conditions with an Affordable Care Act replacement plan “in the next two weeks” back in July — it’s been nearly 3 months since that statement, and not a finger has been lifted. In fact, The Republican Party has never had a replacement for the ACA, regardless of voting more than 70 times to repeal the law since it passed in 2009.

And right now, Senate Republicans are jamming through the confirmation of a judge to the Supreme Court who believes the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.

Time is running out. We need leaders who will stand up to these goons and their rabid attacks on the Affordable Care Act. But the only way we’ll do that is if we help Louisiana kick Senator Bill Cassidy out of office and flip the Senate Blue on November 3rd.
