Water is Life
With the International Day of Rural Women approaching on October 15, United Methodist News is shining a light on the important role women in African countries play in providing water for their families through a new photo essay titled "Water is Life." The story offers a compelling truth: "Millions of people spend almost every moment of their lives seeking water. Millions more do not give it a second thought. Which category you are in depends a great deal on where you were born." View the photo essay, which includes an account of the Missouri Conference Mozambique Initiative, at [link removed] [link removed].

Host a Mobile Camp in 2021
After a challenging summer, NextGen is looking ahead to next year and what plans to be one of our best summers ever! 2021 brings the return of Ignite Mobile Camps.Through partnerships with Eagle Lake and Heartland Camps as well as a unique program out of our own NextGen Office, we bring the excitement of camp to your own church parking lot. By fusing the fun and excitement of water slides, gaga-ball, and other awesome outdoor activities along with intentional spirit-filled worship, Bible study, and one-on-one discipleship, our Ignite Mobile Camps provide a unique experience and bring Christ to children that otherwise may never have had the opportunity. In order for our office to make appropriate accommodations for interested churches, we have now opened up the application process. If your church is considering Ignite in 2021, take the time today to complete the easy application: [link removed] www.nextgencamps.org/host-a-mobile-camp/
