Early voting starts in Texas today, and guess what -- Democrats can turn Texas blue.

I'm serious -- Democrats are gaining momentum up and down the ballot. Polls show Joe Biden is locked in a tie with President Trump in Texas, and MJ Hegar's race to turn a critical Senate seat blue is a statistical tie within the margin of error.

Texas is a toss up. We have a 50-50 chance of turning the Lone Star State blue but only if we put in the work and throw our strongest grassroots support behind candidates like MJ. So I'm asking: If you can chip in a few dollars today, will you split it between MJ's campaign and the Southwest Leadership Fund?

I started the SLF to help elect exceptional Democratic candidates like MJ to the Senate.

MJ is a combat veteran with a Purple Heart who fought to expand roles in the military for women. She's also the working mom of two kids.

The issues facing MJ's family are the same issues facing all Texas families: health care, jobs, and the future of our planet. That's why MJ got into this race to protect the Affordable Care Act, build on it, and lower the cost of health care and to make serious investments in clean energy while creating good-paying jobs for Texans.

With early voting in Texas underway and Election Day only 21 days away, we don't have much time left to flip this critical seat from red to blue. This is the last time I'm going to ask you to pitch in to MJ's race: If you can, will you split a contribution between MJ's campaign and the Southwest Leadership Fund?
