If you’ve had enough of Republicans trampling on our democracy to confirm another anti-choice ideologue to the Supreme Court at all costs, your senator needs to hear from you TODAY. Tell your senator: don’t consider a new Supreme Court justice until after Inauguration Day.
It’s clear that Senate Republicans will stop at nothing to ram through the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett — including exposing fellow senators and Capitol staff to COVID-19 (looking at you, Mike Lee).1
It’s a sham. It’s a shame.
This reckless and rushed process is intended to cover up Amy Coney Barrett’s radically anti-choice, anti-freedom positions — including documents she failed to disclose related to her history of anti-choice extremism.2
We can’t allow Republicans to throw safety and justice out the window in order to push through an illegitimate confirmation before they lose their power on November 3rd. If we don’t stop this now, we will let them lock in a Trump supermajority that will have multiple opportunities to dismantle healthcare coverage, abortion access, marriage equality, and more.
Inaction is not an option. Message your senators now and tell them that these hearings cannot move forward. There should be no consideration of a Supreme Court justice until after Inauguration Day.
