The news is in: President Trump is scheduled to visit California next week to attend at least two fundraisers in the Bay Area and San Diego. 
 
Tickets reportedly cost as much as $50,000 each.
 
 
Ahead of his visit, let’s remind the President what our California values are all about. While he demonizes immigrants, we embrace our diverse community. 
 
While the President rolls back environmental protections, California is leading the nation in fighting climate change. 
 
And while this administration tries to take away healthcare protections from over 130 million Americans, we’re fighting to expand quality, affordable healthcare. 
 
California didn’t become the 5th largest economy in the world by sitting on the sidelines. And let’s not sit on the sidelines now. Ahead of President Trump’s visit, team, will you chip in to stand with our fight holding him accountable? 
 
 
I hope the President takes in more than campaign cash during his visit next week. California has a lot to offer — and he’s welcome to take any of our winning progressive values with him back to Washington.
