A community-organized "Defend the LAPD" rally will take place from 1000-1400 hours this Saturday, Oct. 17, at Elysian Park. Come to 835 Academy Road, and you'll see signs directing you up the street.

This is a community-led event, and is not being organized/affiliated with the LAPPL. All who attend are encouraged to bring signs expressing support of the LAPD.

About the LAPPL Formed in 1923, the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) represents the more than 9,900 dedicated and professional sworn members of the Los Angeles Police Department.
