Urge Target to Drop Dairy Supplier
View this email in a browser. [[link removed]] [[link removed]]Dear John,
Last week, we told you about the egregious abuse revealed in an undercover
investigation at Dick Van Dam Dairy in Southern California. The investigation
documented newborn calves in need of veterinary care left to die and decompose
in pens alongside mother cows, and cows being routinely kicked, punched, and
jabbed with splintered canes and metal pipes. Dick Van Dam Dairy is a supplier
of Dairy Farmers of America, whose products include the DairyPure and TruMoo
brands sold at Target stores nationwide. The abuse documented at this dairy is
in direct violation of Target’s corporate animal welfare policy.
We’ve asked Target to remove Dairy Farmers of America products from its shelves,
including DairyPure and TruMoo, until it can verify the relationship with Dick
Van Dam Dairy has been permanently terminated and Target’s own inspectors
confirm products comply with its animal welfare standards. We’ve even offered to
assist Target in carrying out its investigation. But we need your help.
Send a message to Target executives, asking that Target remove these products
from its store shelves today

Tell Target to Drop DairyPure and TruMoo
[[link removed]]In response to the undercover investigation, we filed a lawsuit against the Dick
Van Dam Dairy, seeking the permanent shutdown of the dairy and barring the
defendants from possessing or working with animals in the future. But it’s
critical that we use every tool available to help these cows and calves — and
that’s why your message to Target is so important.
Thank you for standing up for cows and calves by telling Target that your dollars won’t support animal abuse

For the animals,
