Waterkeeper Alliance Calls on Latin American, Caribbean Leaders to Ratify Treaty Protecting Environmental Defenders

In response to an increase in murders of environmental defenders in Latin America, Waterkeeper Alliance Executive Director Marc Yaggi sent a letter in September to the leaders of 12 nations asking them to sign and ratify the Escazú Agreement, the first environmental human rights treaty in Latin America and the Caribbean.
