New Americans are often overlooked as a voting bloc and told that outreach to our communities is "not worth the time or money." As NALpistas, we wholeheartedly reject that notion—New Americans and people of color deserve the same amount of outreach as their white counterparts.

#PeopleLikeUs are not what typical campaigns label as “prime voters,” and it’s up to us if we’re going to expand the electorate.

That’s why we’re hosting a special event on Wednesday, October 21st at 7pm EST/4pm PST focused on our communities. We’ll be texting #PeopleLikeUs in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina to help get out the vote.
