Hello John!

Jacqueline Guerra is a first-generation Latina graduate from Texas A&M
University—College Station. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts
in International Studies and a minor in Arabic Studies. This is her story:

Jacqueline is now a first-year graduate student at the Texas A&M Bush School of
Government and Public Service. She is working towards obtaining her Masters in
Public Service and Administration with an emphasis in Public Management.
Jacqueline says she is living proof of the positive impact that LULAC has in
supporting first-generation Latino students through programs such as Ford Driving
Dreams [ [link removed] ] .

She attributes her academic and personal success to staying involved in her
community and learning from her experiences. For example, she recalls listening
to public servants and community leaders at the 89th LULAC National Convention in
Phoenix, Arizona. This experience allowed her to meet like-minded youth from
throughout the United States who wanted to ensure the Latino community is
represented across our country.

LULAC’s educational initiatives and student investment programs are a testament
to our decades of commitment to empowering the next generation of community
leaders. We believe in the transformation of lives through education, and we hope
you can help us lead more programs [ [link removed] ] just like
this one.

Please, donate now to support LULAC’s programs. Right now, you have twice the
power! During the month of Hispanic Heritage Month, you can make double the
impact with a generous match from Walmart.

Here for you,

The LULAC National Team
