Helping children when and where they need it most

School can be a struggle for kids with learning disorders under ordinary circumstances, and with remote and hybrid learning it is even harder to make sure that kids are getting the support they need.

In this week’s childmind.org ([link removed]) newsletter we are rounding up resources about learning disorders, from how evaluations ([link removed]) work ([link removed]) to how to spot some of the LDs that are too frequently misunderstood: dyslexia ([link removed]), dyspraxia ([link removed]), and non-verbal learning disorder ([link removed]).

We also take a look at how to make sure children who are English language learners ([link removed]) get an accurate LD diagnosis, and how to modify existing IEPs and 504s ([link removed]) for remote learning.
