Greetings from Washington, D.C., where Senate hearings to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett are underway. To help separate fact from fiction about Judge Barrett, Heritage experts have compiled an extensive collection of materials on her. We’ve also produced a TV ad supporting her confirmation. Meanwhile, a new Heritage video asks which America do you want to live in. And anyone who thinks single-payer health care is a good idea needs to read Heritage’s new book on the subject. Check out these and much more in this week’s Agenda.

Fight for America, Stand With Judge Barrett
As part of a broader “Fight for America” advertising campaign, The Heritage Foundation produced a TV ad supporting Judge Amy Coney Barrett as she faces her Supreme Court confirmation hearing this week. The ad, which will run on several major cable TV channels and social media, highlights Barrett’s outstanding qualifications and urges Americans to take a stand for her against vicious attacks from the left. “This is no time for character assassination and anti-religious bigotry. It’s time to fight for America and stand with Judge Barrett,” the ad says. Click here to view the TV ad.

Everything You Need to Know About Judge Barrett
Experts at The Heritage Foundation’s Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies published an array of articles covering Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s judicial record—including her approach to First Amendment, immigration, and federal jurisdiction issues—and why the Senate should move forward with the confirmation process before the election. “Far from a judicial activist, Barrett is very careful to limit her own power while respecting Congress’ greater authority to do whatever is constitutional, necessary, and proper,” writes Heritage legal fellow GianCarlo Canaparo. Read through the Meese Center’s full collection of articles related to Barrett and the confirmation process.

What Kind of America Do You Choose?
Heritage released a new video that breaks down the two competing visions of America and the stark differences we face, including freedom of speech, crime, judges, health care, and more. “It’s perhaps never been more important to ask: What kind of country do I want to live in?” says Heritage senior advisor and spokesperson Genevieve Wood. This video is part of a series called “America’s Biggest Issues.” Watch the new video and see the complete collection of videos.

New Heritage Book Exposes the Dangers of Single-Payer Health Care
Left-wing politicians have made it clear that the first chance they get they will impose a government-run single-payer health care scheme on the country, claiming it will make our system fairer, cheaper, and better. Heritage’s new book, “No Choice, No Exit,” sifts through the left’s rhetoric to expose the truth about the single-payer proposals, and details the devastating impact these plans would have on Americans. “The way to better health care starts with getting government out of the way and shifting the power and decision-making authority from politicians and bureaucrats back to patients and their doctors,” writes Heritage President Kay C. James. Read the full book and share it with friends and colleagues.
