Hi John,

We did it!

PA House Republicans announced that they will no longer be seeking a vote on their shameful “Election Integrity Committee” (HR1032) after the substantial public backlash from concerned citizens across the Commonwealth. The proposed Republican-controlled committee would have had unprecedented power to subpoena mail-in ballots and generally obstruct the counting of votes.

“Pennsylvanians deserve to have their vote counted as they cast it, not decided by five individuals…,” State Rep. Melissa Shusterman said.

I’m thankful to everyone who joined me in speaking out against this flagrant attempt to undermine free and fair elections. It goes to show that when we raise our voices and organize together, we can defeat these threats to democracy.

On the heels of this victory, we are continuing to support red-to-blue candidates across the state to flip the PA House in 2020!  Donate to our Flip the House Victory Fund today to help fund these efforts through Election Day.

Republican control of our State House has thwarted progress on meaningful issues, undermined our state’s pandemic response, and is likely not done trying to steal this election. The stakes were never higher and we need your help.

We’re almost there. Let’s go!
