The office of Elections is seeking to hire about 200 additional seasonal staff to process mailed absentee ballots, work at in-person absentee voting location, or help in our office from now until election day. Click HERE. (Applicants for the position “processing mailed absentee ballots” need to be able to work at least one of the schedules listed. Fairfax County has 244 voting precincts that require over 1,500 Election Officers, of which 50% can be Republicans.
