People are voting as I type this. Election Day might be three weeks from tomorrow, but in a very real sense, this election is happening right now.

That makes our final FEC fundraising deadline even more important. You’ve heard that the other side thinks they can squeak out a victory and flip a long-held Democratic seat, and they even have a poll that says this is a two-point race.

It all comes down to which side shows up and who fights harder when it matters most. Wednesday’s deadline is the final time we’ll report on our progress, and our last chance to build the on-the-ground operation we need for the final weeks.

Even more is at stake in the general election. My opponent is shamelessly pushing Trump’s xenophobic agenda, and has accused me of “siding with the criminals” for my support of the protests over the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

There is no doubt what he’d do if he gets to Congress.
