St. Croix County Circuit Court Judge R. Michael Waterman denied WILL's motion for an injunction in a lawsuit challenging Governor Tony Evers’s legal authority to issue multiple emergency declarations in response to COVID-19. WILL is planning an appeal.

The Daily Signal reports on the news of an injunction in WILL's lawsuit against the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) over a policy that encouraged staff to deceive parents about the gender a child has adopted at school.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court, in a 4-3 decision, held that the Wisconsin Legislature does have standing to defend state law when the Attorney General does not defend it. WILL filed an amicus in the case before the Court, DNC v. Bostelmann, that warned that a federal appellate court’s interpretation of Wisconsin law “poses an existential threat to the separation-of-powers principles our state and country are founded upon.”
