Radical liberal protest group MoveOn is once again jumping into this race to try to defeat me and help the Left in their attempt to seize the Senate majority – pumping $2 million in attack ads into South Carolina with less than a month to go. MoveOn has been pushing their disastrous "Defund the Police" effort all summer with irresponsible claims like: "It is critical for every Police Department across this country to acknowledge the harm their institution has caused Black families, to make an official apology, in turn the city needs to commit to divest funds from the police and invest in community safety measures. #DefundPolice"And they already donated to my liberal Democrat opponent Jaime Harrison, who they were "proud to endorse," – helping him with his record-setting fundraising haul! Let me be clear: I believe the effort to #DefundThePolice is insane. Will you please make an immediate contribution to my re-election effort today and help us get our winning message out to the voters?
