When I wrote to you this morning, I was concerned we wouldn’t meet tonight’s online fundraising goal. Since then, however, HUNDREDS of people have pitched in to help us close the gap.

Right now, it’s clear that we need scientists in Washington. Trump-allied groups like the Congressional Leadership Fund are funneling in outside money to prop up my far-right opponent Lee Zeldin and attack me on TV and by mail. But it’s not just his corporate PAC buddies who are stockpiling dark money to protect their darling -- he has Donald Trump and Mike Pence in his corner, too.

We’ve got our work cut out for us -- and I’m really hoping you’ll pitch in now to help us raise $4,300 more for our fund to put an end to hyperpartisan, science-denying, anti-choice leadership in Congress.
